Welcome to Defending the ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ Dream Initiative

Defending the ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ Dream InitiativeÌý(ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ Dream) is a part of the Immigrant Justice Clinic at the ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ (ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ) Washington College of Law (WCL).
ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ Dream’s mission is to provide free immigration legal services to undocumented and other immigrant undergraduate and graduate students who are currently enrolled in colleges or universities in the DC metropolitan area. ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ Dream may also provide free immigration legal services to family members of currently enrolled students.
Thanks to a generous gift from ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ and WCL alum William I. Jacobs, ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ Dream is now a reality. ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ Dream firmly believes that all students can thrive in college when they feel safe and can access opportunities and resources. Our legal services address one barrier to higher education – insecure immigration status – and, with the help of our partners and allies, we address students’ other needs through referrals.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, ÇàÇà²ÝÊÓƵ Dream continues to provide legal services remotely. Please contact us at audream@wcl.american.edu.
